Training
OLIVEARTE has investigated the training opportunities available to cultural organisations and practitioners and finds that short, intensive, ‘on-the-job’ training is the most sought after but least available kind of training in the cultural sector. Managers and leaders in the arts have little time available for capacity building and education because of the intensive nature of their work.
OLIVEARTE can bridge this gap by offering training modules in a range of areas, such as developing vision and mission statements, strategic planning, finance, fundraising, communications, staffing and recruitment, as well as other relevant topics.
OLIVEARTE can also provide tailor-made courses to fit specific contexts. These courses can vary in length and can be carried out in the work place. In addition, longer courses and weekend retreats can also be organised.
